Terms of Use
Effective 20 July 2026 · Applies to the Preface 2559 platform at preface.sg
1. What these terms are
Preface 2559 (the “Platform”) is the internal operations platform of Preface (“Preface”, “we”, “us”). It is provided exclusively to personnel authorized by Preface. By signing in to or using the Platform you agree to these Terms of Use and to the Privacy Policy. If you are not an authorized user, you must not access the Platform.
2. Accounts and access
- Accounts are created and managed by Preface administrators. There is no self-service registration.
- You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for activity under your account. Tell an administrator immediately if you suspect your account is compromised.
- Access is role-based. Attempting to reach data or functions beyond your role is prohibited.
- We may suspend or revoke access at any time, including when your role changes or your engagement with Preface ends.
3. Acceptable use
You agree to use the Platform only for Preface business, and in particular to:
- treat client information in the Platform as confidential and use it only for legitimate Preface purposes;
- comply with applicable law, including the Singapore Personal Data Protection Act and applicable rules on commercial messages, when contacting clients through or based on the Platform;
- not extract, scrape, or bulk-export data outside the Platform’s provided export functions;
- not probe, disable, or circumvent the Platform’s security or access controls; and
- not share your access with any other person, inside or outside Preface.
4. Google account connections
Connecting a Google account is voluntary and personal: you may only connect an account you own, and you may disconnect or revoke the connection at any time as described in the Privacy Policy. Features that act on your Google account (sending a drafted email, writing a calendar event) run only after your explicit, per-action confirmation, and your use of them must comply with Google’s own terms.
5. AI-assisted features
Some features produce AI-generated suggestions (classifications, drafts, summaries). Suggestions are assistive only: they do not execute anything by themselves, and you are responsible for reviewing any suggestion before confirming an action based on it.
6. Data and intellectual property
The Platform, its software, and all business data in it are the property of Preface (or its licensors). These terms grant you no rights other than the limited right to use the Platform for Preface business while authorized. Obligations of confidentiality continue after your access ends.
7. Availability and changes
The Platform is an internal tool provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We may change, suspend, or retire features at any time. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Preface excludes all warranties and, in connection with the Platform, will not be liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
8. Governing law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and the courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from them. Questions: singapore@preface.ai.
